Why Us?

The Empowerment Center is founded on the core values of care and rehabilitation. We pride ourselves on teaching emotional, cognitive, and social skills that will assist those that are diagnosed with mental illness that live and desire to work in their communities as self-sufficient as possible. The Empowerment Center’s responsibility is to empower the individuals in a manner that they can begin to learn to cope with their circumstances rather than focusing on the diagnoses as a hindrance. We inspire our participants as well as our staff to be the greatest to the best of their ability daily. We educate our participants that every move matters as long as their moving.

The Empowerment Center is Quality focused rather than Quantity focused. Individuals are encouraged to grow at their own pace and provided the tools to step outside of their norms. We encourage respecting the process by meeting them where they are. 

The Empowerment Center understands that every individual differs and desires to be accepted and nurtured even as adults. We see all of our participants very transparently. This sight is not just in a visual, physical way, but internally. We accept them for who they are and truly give ourselves as a tool to assist in long term growth.
