The Empowerment Center understands the importance of technology and the need for everyone to have the fundamental skills. The Empowerment Center is fully equipped with computers as well as laptops for all individuals. The Empowerment Center participants will be developing employment skills in basic knowledge of the working use of the computer by learning to type with proper hand placement, typing documents, printing and web searches. The Empowerment Center provides the basic fundamentals of knowing computers, basic operations using guided based operating systems, word processing, spreadsheet , introduction to internet, www and web browsers. The Empowerment Center teaches participants how to use technology as a communication tool as well as creating small presentations as well as financial literacy for banking scheme and applications. 

The following level of the computer classes will include use of various software programs such as MS Excel and PowerPoint in addition to advanced internet skills.

The classes also include resume building, typing or basic fun games to get individuals comfortable with using a computer. This is all taught according to the individuals learning abilities and personal goals.
