The Empowerment Center is a huge advocate for giving back to the community. The Empowerment Center volunteers and encourages community engagement by giving back to the community in many forms.
Some examples include, assisting the elderly with yard work. Participating in clothing swaps, assisting in holiday meals, car washes, gardening parties and donating vegetables from the garden. The Empowerment Center also participates in in-house volunteering tasks such as making things for the community. These items include Knit scarves, hats, paintings, cards, stuffed animals etc for families in shelters including hospitalized individuals, elderly care facilities, family shelters. Providing handmade gifts assist in our goals to make their days a little brighter.
The Empowerment Center actively seeks to fill positions for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) & Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) as well as Certified Nursing Assistant and Medical Technicians.
